Thunder clashed in the distance outside as the team relaxed inside the base. It had been raining heavily all day, and the day before, and all through the night. The sewers, and water underneath the bridge had flooded, and until the water level dropped they would have to wait out the storm. Two days ago was their last battle, and they had lost which sort of put the group down a small bit, but that didn't weigh too heavily on their minds.

Saphira was cuddled up next to Felix, since the girl was afraid of storms. Grace had been reading one of her old books from home, as she sat opposite of the two cuddled together. The room had been considerably quiet granted the thunder outside. In the mess hall some people were doing hobbies. The pyro was putting a jigsaw puzzle together, while the Spy indulged in some wine tasting, with a few bottles he received from home.

Nobody would admit it, but a few people were actually quite happy the RED team had a victory. Saphira knew that would gentle the Hunter down a little with his own team... with luck.

She placed her head on Felix's chest and allowed him to stroke her hair. As his hands went through her hair, Grace turned another page. The BLU Sniper walked into the room, his bandages still on his forearms. It had been about a week, since his emergency. He looked around, and sat down next to Grace. "Hey, Kit." He said quietly not trying to alarm her. She looked up, and smiled then in an instant turned back to her book.

Saphira opened her eyes, "Hello Snipes."

Felix looked up at the Aussie, "How are you feeling?"

The tall Australian shrugged, glancing down at his stitched arms. "Feeling bettah." He said smiling. The four stayed there for a while relaxing, and the Soldier came through, grabbing a newspaper. He looked at the four with a nod of his head, his helmet loosely bobbing around on his head.

After he left the BLU Spy came in and sat down near a table, with the wine he found very satisfying. He swirled it around the glass carefully as he glanced at the four. The glass reflected the lightning outside. Finally as he was not comfortable with the silence he spoke to them. "Would anybody like to have a sip of wine from my country?" He turned towards Felix hoping his German friend would enjoy some.

The doctor smiled, "Vhy not?" He smiled taking a sip. It was just the right taste of sweetness. Spy smiled knowing the doctor would enjoy it. He turned towards the others, wondering if they wanted to taste it.

Saphira smiled, "I guess it wouldn't hurt." Taking the cup in her mouth, she took a sip and tasted it. When the Spy turned to Grace, he held up the glass, and smiled.

She held her hand up. "Ehh... all wine tastes the same to me. Also it burns my throat." She didn't want to hurt his feelings. "I appreciate your generosity though." She smiled to him. He grinned back. They all sat there enjoying their company.

Meanwhile in the rain somebody in a hooded cloak, was knocking on the door.

Saphira got up, "I'll go check who it is." Felix followed her.
The two approached the door, opening it up, "Hello?"

The man pulled back his hood, and looked at the two that stood before him. It was the RED Spy. His clothes, and mask were soaked darkened by the rain. He tried wiping his face clean of the rain, and he looked like he was freezing cold. Felix suddenly clutched him by the arm, yanking him inside squinting his eyes. The Spy yelped in shock, as the medic gripped tightly around his arm. "Vhat do you vant?" The German asked not letting him out of his sight till others got there. A few other classes came through as well.

What really surprised the group was the Sniper. He grabbed the Spy by the sides of his suit, and shoved him against the wall. "Well, if it aint tha bloke tha shoves his knife inta other peoples backs!" He smirked. "I think Imma kill ya!" The RED Spy whimpered in his grasp turning his face away. As he raised the kukri in his hand, Saphira grabbed it and stopped him.

"What the hell, Snipes!" She said raising an eyebrow. "You always said that when it came to fighting you would make your kills with dignity!" She turned to Felix, "Let him in."

Felix's eyes widened in shock, "Vh-vhat! But he's... he's zhe enemy!" He said stammering. "And he's trespassing!"

Saphira's brow lowered. "No he didn't trespass! You yanked him in!" She said glaring. "Besides does it look like he's about to shoot us up?" She nudged her head in his direction, as he whimpered in fear shaking out of his skin.

"He is probably one of the nicest people on that team, a true gentleman. He treated us like guests!"

"What's going on?" The team looked behind them as Grace made her way through. She looked over at the frightened RED, and then at the the Sniper who was still holding his weapon. She took the kukri out of the Sniper's grip, and put it in his belt hold.

"Sniper, let the Spy go." Saphira sounded completely serious. With a stubborn snarl he let go of the fabric, and the Spy fell to the ground.

Saphira offered a hand to help the frenchman up, "Sorry."

Grace brushed the man off. "The Sniper is extremely stubborn when it comes to enemies, but he is loyal." She felt cold shivers being so close to an enemy that had killed her before, but she knew he was meeting for neutral reasons. "You guys can leave. We'll be fine." She said turning to the others.

Felix was a bit hesitant, "Are you sure you'll be ok?"

Saphira placed a hand on his shoulder, "We'll be fine Felix."

The Spy wasn't so mellow on it. He quickly pulled out two ambassadors, and gave one to both of them. "If you get any wrong ideas." He said looking at his RED counterpart in an angry glare.

Grace slid it in her belt. "Thanks, you're a real friend Spy. Now get on outta here."

Felix took one last glance at the Huntress and the Scout before leaving the room.

Once the BLU men were all gone, the girls turned towards the RED Spy and checked to see if he was alright. "You alright?" They said looking up at the shaking man. They took the cloak, and outer jacket off since being in the wet clothes seemed to be chilling him to the bone. He was left in his waistcoat, and dress shirt.

Saphira frowned, taking her vest off she put it over his shoulders to help him warm up. "There we go. Now that feels better I bet." She smiled to him.

Grace took his hand, and sat him on the couch to help him relax. His teeth chattered a bit as he smiled at them. "I am eternally grateful to both of you." He shivered.

Suddenly Grace's face lit up in fear, and she ran over to the window. "Does the Hunter know you're here?" She said turning back to him. "He's gonna kill you if he finds out!"

"Not if I can help it." Saphira growled.

The Spy smiled laying a hand on their shoulders. Suddenly his face twisted into a look of suspense, as he sneezed loudly. He wheezed a bit, as Saphira took out a handkerchief, and gave it to him, to clean himself up. He was suffering from a cold. They could already tell. He caught a cold standing out in the rain. He might have been good at keeping secrets, but it was pretty hard to hide the fact that he caught a bug outside.

"Why are you here?" Saphira tilted her head to the side.

Grace rubbed his forearms to warm him up a little. His body shook less, but still trembled slightly. "I came to see the two of you actually. I have been worried sick about you both." He said his voice sounding serious. "I have been using my cloaking device, to watch you both on the battlefield, and you have both seemed to lose a bit of your... " he looked down struggling with his English. "I think the English word for it is pizzazz."

It was true, the Huntress hadn't been doing as well as she had been.

Grace nodded closing her eyes. "Yeah. We have been having some rough things going on here at the base, and I suppose it's just throwing us off our game."

The Frenchman smirked. "Oui, I figured when I saw the Sniper's arms with the bandages on them." He said looking at the girls. "Did he have an accident?" He asked the two.

"I guess... you could call it that." Saphira said, not wanting to get too involved with the Sniper's large wounds.

Grace walked over to the other couch, and grabbed a blanket wrapping it around the Spy. "I wasn't really wanting to say anything, but I do prefer you being here, then spending time at the RED base. They aren't good for you." She said smiling at him. Grace knew that a little time with the REDs was nothing compared to being with them for a long term period such as the RED Spy. Just by sitting next to him, she could feel his timidness, his anxiety, the fragileness, and how vulnerable he was. He was a delicate scared puppy. What had they done to him? Tripped him in the halls? Splatted his plate of food against his face during dinner? Mere child's play!

Saphira knew that the Spy wasn't always this timid, the first day she saw him out on the field he seemed so confident. In fact, the whole RED team seemed different in a way... Things just seemed to change since the Hunter came around, was he really that big of an impact on the team?

The Spy seemed to relax into the blankets as he sat there quietly.

"I wish I were with your team instead." Grace whispered. "I wish that I could be there to keep them away from you, and make sure nothing bad ever happened to you." She said lacing her fingers in his.

His face grew angry. "Don't say that." He said shaking. "Don't you ever say that."

Saphira glanced at the Spy, "Why?"

He looked at the both seriously. "Because they are rotten monsters. They enjoy chaos, and indulging in hurting the innocent. Ever since the Hunter came to this place, people have either become afraid of him, or engorge in his sadism. It's like our entire side has gone to..." He was becoming flustered and it seemed like he wasn't taking things well. "I just don't know what to do." The Spy said running his hands along his forehead making his mask slightly crooked.

The Huntress knew Hunter was bad... but this... this is just terrible! "I've been noticing a few RED's become more violent on the field... I thought it  was just irritation from losing."

The RED Spy simply huffed "It gets much worse when he is irritable."  He said looking at the girls as his emotions looked raw from his eyes. "He hurts us sometimes if we lose." He held up his vest showing a fist shaped bruise in his abdomen. "This was from the last time you all won."

Her eyes widened. The blue was just starting to fade into yellow at this point. Grace ran over to the freezer, and grabbed a bundle of ice. "My God! If you stay in that team, it's only a matter of time till you get killed" She held it up against his abdomen as he gasped and grunted from the contact.

"I'm so sorry... I wish there was some way I could help."

Meanwhile the BLU Spy watched from a one way window in the other room, as the other BLU team members all sat together waiting for the RED to leave. Sneering he walked over to the others. "Having a RED in the base... it's ridiculous!" He said thinking of Grace holding ice on his stomach.

Pyro wrote something down, and gave it to Felix. "He's not that bad. I think he's kindly!"

Felix growled, "I do not feel comfortable viss him being so close to zhe girls..."

The Sniper grumbled low. "Yeah, me neither." He said looking at them. "Somethin's goin on. I don' know what."

"Aye. Teh bloody spook can't be trusted." Demo said, pounding his fist into his other hand.

Meanwhile the girls were busy taking pity on the mistreated RED team member. He was a just so delicate, and they didn't know how to help. He laid a hand on each girls knee. "I know you are both worried for me, but I was honestly more worried for you both."

It was really hard for them to feel any pity towards themselves. Grace clutched his hand knowing he was far more frail and rattled than they were. With as much chaos as there had been it was both a relief, and painful seeing somebody more psychologically exhausted than themselves. It was a feeling that they were unable to explain. "Spy... you staying in that base is so bad... I don't know how you would be able to get through this without having somebody to hold onto."

Saphira nodded "You're one strong person Spy."
When the girls smiled to let him know he was brave, his eyes started to shine. There were a handful of things neither thought they would ever see. A Spy crying from anguish was probably the biggest thing they thought they would never see. Both were a bit scared, and knew it was coming.

Saphira always hated to see people crying, she wanted to help make the Spy feel better... so she did the only thing she could think of at the moment. Sitting down next to the Spy the Huntress wrapped her arms around him, patting his back.

There was only a few moment in her life where Grace had seen a grown man cry, and it never felt exactly comfortable, but this moment in time he deserved to cry, so she watched him cry letting in all the negative and painful emotions of the Spy be laid before her.

As the boys sat there drinking their drinks, Pyro suddenly muffled to the boys, and waved a hand to come closer to the window, when they did she pointed out to the Spy. The boys all watched as the Spy cried on their couch. None of them really knew quite what to say. Felix sort of looked on as he clenched his jaw. The Sniper just watched him as he stood there very still. The one that was affected most was the BLU Spy. He walked up a few steps, and put his hand on the glass. He knew that could have been him needing comfort from the girls.

"I'm sorry." The Spy sputtered through tears, and quivering muscles. "I'm sorry, I'm so... I'm so sorry! I'm suh..." It came out more as breaths from crying so hard. They knew he was talking about the kidnapping. "Everything is frightening to me now!" He whimpered. "On the field everybody looks like a monster! I'm being killed by monsters!" He cried.

"Don't be scared, or worry. It's only us." Grace said sliding her arms gently around his shoulder. "At least the things you see aren't real." She said raising an eyebrow. "While you see monsters, the people we see being killed every day, is stuff that actually happens."'

Suddenly an awkward feeling swept over Grace as she was being pulled into a hug along with Saphira. They were both being gripped tightly against his chest. "You both have been through so much here!" He said looking down at them. "My excuses aren't even worth bringing up!"

They looked up at him. Saphira laid a hand up against his face, as he let out a rugged breath. A simple touch that was so soft was something he apparently wasn't used to. "No! Everybody goes through painful things, and each pain is different. One is no better than another. Comparing and judging won't happen here."

Grace nodded. "Yes, we won't judge you Spy." She said laying her head against his chest. "Trust me. We're in no position to." She looked down at the floor. "Plenty of people that go through traumatic experiences don't need somebody else washing their hair."

He held his gloved hands over his eyes, as if he did want them to look at him. Saphira hugged him once more, and even Grace tried to give him her best attempt at a hug. "I feel so much pain, and shame in myself that I can't stand it!" He weeped through his gloves. "I don't want be who I am." The girls felt so much pain, seeing his lip quiver.

Felix stormed off to his room. He'd seen enough. He knew if he stayed around any longer there would soon be blood spattered all over the room. The group watched him stomp away. They had never seen him stomp away with such a discontent toward somebody like this, he was usually calm and collected.

Scout watched as the German left, "Wow... never saw the doc act like dat before."

The girls were trying to find some way to help the Spy feel some self worth. He was just so miserable, and afraid. "Making two girls suffer simply because of orders?" He wiped his face off with his arm. His tears making a line along his forearm. "How could somebody... do that without even thinking about it?" He asked, "What if being there has made me lose my soul?" His mouth couldn't stop shaking.

Saphira laid a hand on his chest patting lightly. Grace's own chest clenched tightly. Grace didn't know why, but her muscles felt tight. Suddenly her mouth opened to find words. "This is what fear feels like, Spy." She smiled mirroring Saphira's movements. "There's nothing wrong with you on the inside. You still have a soul, and don't think otherwise." She said shaking her head. "You're crying, Spy. Men without souls do NOT cry! Especially when they're this vulnerable"

"If anyone is without a soul it is the Hunter himself." Saphira looked at him with a serious look.

The shaking man looked at them with a worried expression. "Are you both sure?"

Rolling her eyes, Grace stood up holding her hand out to help him up. "Hell, yes.Who knows you better than yourself?" She smirked. "Do you feel soulless?" He looked up at her wiping his tears away, then shaking his head. "You are the most human person on that entire team, Spy." She then wrapped her arms around him holding him close her ear against his chest. "Hold onto that. Lord knows many haven't." She glanced over to Saphira who simply looked at her, an eyebrow up. Grace knew what the look meant. She had gotten it at home a few times before.

Upon seeing Grace hugging the RED Spy, the BLU Sniper felt his brow get low, and his grip on his kukri tighten to white knuckle. There was not a way on this Earth he would let Grace fall in love with a RED team member. Even one so calm, and collected as Spy, and he CERTAINLY wasn't going to let a RED put their hands on her. It was simply a brotherly instinct. He proceeded to watch them coming dangerously close to bursting in.

The girls stood up and both gave him a hug around his waist as he gasped lightly from the contact laughing lightly. At that point enough was enough for the Spy. He was the beautiful handsome foreign frenchman around here. He snapped his fingers signalling the group to barge in. When the girls pulled away, Grace smiled staring in the timid man's eyes. Suddenly they heard the door to the mess hall open, as the group stood there, the support team in the front, looking ready to kill.

"What is the meaning of this!?" Saphira said, pulling away from the Spy.

Felix bit his bottom lip, as his jealous eyes bore into the startled man. The Spy had his arms crossed and his shoulders hunched as he leaned on the wall, smoke blowing on of his nostrils, from his cigarette. Sniper was balancing his kukri on his index finger. "It's time for my RED counterpart to leave."

"He'll leave once we're done with him..." Her voice was stern, the expression on her face completely serious.

"He'll leave now!" The Sniper hollered. The group jumped, from the sternness of his voice, as he held his hand over his own mouth.

Saphira clenched her fists, turning to the RED, "I'm sorry for their actions... but it may be best if you left..."

Grace rubbed his back. "Yeah. We don't want you getting hurt here. It's dangerous." She said glaring at the stubborn BLUs, in which they turned away.

He held his hands up defensively. "No, it's fine. I understand. They feel intimidated having an enemy here. I will leave." He said smiling to the girls, as he grabbed his cold wet garments. "Will you girls be alright with uhh..." He gestured towards the fuming group of BLUs. "Them?"

"Don't worry too much about them. They'll get over it." Grace smiled helping him slip his half dry cloak on. Felix watched him with a steely cold glare that could petrify. He smiled to them both, and gently grasped both of their right hands. Gently kissing the back in a grateful gesture.

When Felix and Sniper both proceeded to approach, the others pulled them back to make sure the room would not be blood spattered. Seeing how sensitive his enemies were he proceeded outside. The rain and the wind of the storm outside blew him back a bit stinging the exposed skin with hard droplets of water like tiny pins. As he made his way against the wind, he closed the door behind him.

Saphira and Grace ran up to the windows to watch him head back. Once he was out of sight the girls turned to the boys angrily.

"What was that for!?" Saphira said staring at them like they were insane.

Felix proceeded to speak next. "He vas getting too comfortable-"

She cut him off. "HE was the one who made staying in that hellish cell comfortable! He has to deal with that team every single day!"

The Sniper wasn't afraid to down talk the Spy. After all down talking his most hated rival was his specialty. "Well, ya know, when he comes in flauntin his feathahs all over tha place like a bird a paradise, he sort of deserves tah be stuck wiff em."

At this Grace ran up to him, slamming her fist against his chest. He looked down as she was throwing her back into it.

"HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!? He was in need of comforting! Couldn't you see the pain in his eyes!?"

Grace then proceeded land a blow to a spot Sniper preferred never to be kicked nor any human male for that matter. He took a breath, as his voice hitched a bit falling over to the side. He never expected Grace to be so angry as to do that!

Saphira had stormed off to her room, Felix followed her.

"Saphira..."

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" they could hear her door slam shut.

Felix stood there silently.

Grace stared at the group then turned away running towards her room as well. The Sniper proceeded to stand up and attempt to follow, but the Spy laid a hand on his shoulder and shook his head no. If anything, Grace didn't need him talking to her.

"We screwed up big time didn' we?" He asked his voice an octave higher.

Felix walked back to the group, sadly nodding his head. The Spy and the Medic sat down. The Spy rubbed his temples as the Medic looked over to the door, sort of hoping the Spy would come back so he could apologize. The Sniper knew they were taking it rough. "Why did Grace latch onto him?" He said looking out the window. "It was like she trusted him more than she trusted me!" He said glancing his face looking worried. "I just don' get it."

"They see themselves in him." The Spy said, smashing his cigarette into the ashtray.

"I've never seen Saphira so angry..." The German rubbed his temples with a sigh. "I just hope she can forgive me for my actions."

"She will." The Frenchman said. "Something about that Spy has touched them in way that they feel protective of." He looked up. "She will forgive you. She is quick to that, and in a week, she will probably not even remember." He then took a quick peek at Sniper as he retrieved a bag of ice from the freezer. 'Different might apply to the Sniper' he thought silently to himself.

"What am Oi gonna do?" The Sniper thought out loud. "Everytime I try ta make things safe fer Grace, it ends up jus gettin me inta more trouble!"

At this hard to explain moment the Medic and Spy stared at one another in an uncomfortable stressed atmosphere. They both drank their coffee and sat there silently. Telling the Sniper the truth was probably not a very good idea. Who knew how he would react?! He was protective of Grace, and had he had any clue they would end up with a murder.

Meanwhile the girls were already sitting with one another in Grace's room, as they wallowed thinking about the poor Spy. What sorts of things he went through on a daily basis. Grace absentmindedly flicked her dreamcatcher thinking about it non stop.Saphira just kept staring out the window. The rain pouring down the window. The thunder storm was gone, which left nothing but the rain. The wind and lightning had subsided, but the rain was still coming down hard.

A quiet knocking was heard on the door. The two sat up like deer on alert. The mysterious knocker was the Pyro. She walked in, and approached the two girls, holding out a note from her notepad. "You girls alright?"

Saphira looked up at the firebug, shaking her head. It really was hard knowing that there was somebody out there who was truly hurt. It made their heart bleed out for them, and who else was getting tormented other than him? Pyro looked to the side worried for them. Another note was scribbled down quickly. "Would you girls like to talk about it? It seemed like some pretty heavy stuff.

Saphira smiled. "Sure." She turned to Grace, "What about you?"

Grace nodded turning their way. "I guess so." She said looking down putting her hands in her pocket. She pulled her hat further down, so that they couldn't see her eyes. Pyro took the hat away restricting her from hiding her eyes. "Hey!" Pyro wrote something down. "We are going to talk to each other, not talk to the floor, or our own hats." She then assertively wrote down another bit of sentence, and shoved it towards the Cherokee, "Which means you are gonna explain what that was all about with you acting all... different."

Grace pushed the letter away. "I don't want to talk about that!" She said turning away.

Pyro was being persistent. "Oh, we're going to talk about it all, tonight!"

Saphira placed a hand on Grace's shoulder, "Pyro's probably the best person to tell your problems to, other than Felix." The look on Grace's face was clearly one of utter embarrassment. The two could sense what she was feeling, which had the boys been girls would have seen the signs easily.

"Well, in order to know what we're going to discuss, I need to know what happened which caused the RED Spy to come to you two." Speaking of his abuse seemed like it was probably the best idea. So they did.

"The Hunter has been treating him, and pretty much over half of the team like trash." Grace said looking at the Pyro. "They beat them, and torment them." She said looking away her eyes forming tears. "I've only got a week left to be here, and already I'm figuring this out, and can't do anything!'

The Huntress nodded. "When we were in the cell, he was kind to us. He simply told us we were there because of orders, and it seemed like he was in pain watching us suffer. Now, it might be because he disguise as us, and feels close, but he sometimes feels like he is part of this team."

The Pyro laid an arm on their shoulders. "I can see how sometimes you can feel useless. Trust me. Whenever you two or others are set on fire, by the RED Pyro thirty feet away I feel like there's nothing I am able to do."  She was determined to let them know there was nothing wrong in letting them know there was nothing wrong in feeling powerless sometimes.

Saphira nodded. "Things just feel kind of mixed up." She said looking out the window. "It's just... he done so much for us."

Grace looked over at the wall, with the billboard that kept her friend and enemy pictures. "Yes." she said grabbing a picture off the thumbtack. It was a picture of her and the RED Spy when he was once disguised as Saphira. It wasn't easy to tell at first, but it showed up in the picture. They were both cheek to cheek. "He has stood up for us so many times, and has given so much to us." She said "We just wanted to give something back. Even if it was just a little bit of our time." She said holding the photograph close.

The Pyro looked out into the rain, and what she saw made her happy. She turned toward her notepad, and quickly started a sentence "Well, maybe you can still give him more of your time after all." She grabbed it and waved it frantically in front of the girls. Trying to grab the moving note they read it confused of what it meant. "I don't understand. What do you mean?"

She walked over to the window, and pointed out to the battlefield, where the bridge sat. Through the thick sheets of rain, a small glow could be seen. The man's cigarette was accompanied by the slightly darkened silhouette. As it leaned over the rail, staring off into the rain. He was still out there. They were surprised that he stayed out regardless of the pouring rain. He was keeping himself dry under the roof of the bridge. Simply writing another note the Pyro happily gave it to the girls. "I think you two know what I mean." She had a smiley face at the bottom "If you need me, I'll be busy making a distraction for the boys, while you two make your way outside."

The Spy watched as the rain fell out on the usually dry area of Teufort. It was uncommon for rain to fall in such a dry area. The dirt ground of the battlefield quickly made mud of the area. Being in an area where it hardly rained did sort of makes things feel boring, so to have rain actually made him a bit happy. He grinned the smoke dissipating into the rain as it washed away. He wished there was some drainage in the ground however. Some plants, or even some tenderness to the ground. Otherwise it would just make a hard slick, and slightly muddy surface.

Suddenly numerous footsteps were heard on the wood behind him. He figured they were either from the girls, or the three defensive men that shooed him off. The  sound of no firing confirmed it was his new feminine friends. He smiled and turned his head ever so slightly towards the girls. They walked under umbrellas and made their way towards the bridge's roof. Once underneath they closed their umbrellas and walked up to him. "Hello, Spy." They said in a very soft gentle way.

The frenchman responded to their greetings. "hello, girls. Looking for a friend in the rain?"

The girls looked puzzled

He waved it off. "A french thing. Nevermind." He said watching it pour down, while he stayed dry under the roof.

Grace put her umbrella off to the side, and in her free hand she had two cups of hot chocolate. It was steaming out in the cold air. "We wanted you to have this." She said holding the fuller one out for him. "We didn't think there would be any harm in talking to you a bit longer." She smiled in a way the Saphira had never seen her smile before. It wasn't necessarily a romantic smile, but it had a magical connective sense about it.

He took it in his hand, smiling down at it. "Thank you." Then his face turned a bit softer to a point where it made their hearts bleed. He leaned back into the railing his eyes gazing across the battlefield. "You know, ladies... since I was eight years old, the only thing I ever wanted to do was be a spy." He chuckled glancing quickly down into his cup. "And I have loved every single thing about it. From the first disguise I ever wore, to the victory we've obtained earlier this week... and... well..." He wrapped the two in a tight hug. "Thank you both."

Grace had her eyes closed nuzzling her face into his suit. "No thank you, Spy." She smiled up him, and right then and there Saphira knew why Grace was so close to him. She needed him as a last string of hope. He was the last hope she had that there was some good in the RED. She needed trust in the RED. "Well, we had better head back, the Pyro can't distract the boys forever."

The RED Spy watched them walk away, when suddenly he called them back over towards them. "Hey, girls!" He said putting the drink up to his lips. "Did I ever tell you how I faced the BLU Heavy in the toughest battle, with two men in respawn, and all classes in the intel room?"

They stopped and looked behind themselves. "Why, no!" They said deciding to stay and listen.

He then smiled since they had decided to stay. "Well, it was a cold day in September, and the BLU Heavy, was shooting like a man on fire, which was pretty much the way he always shot, and I was just a young new kid straight from the French countryside. My suit was sort of loose, and.." As he started with his story, the girls smiled knowing that for the first time in months, he felt safe.
Yep! Yet another fun TF2 story. Just a small side story of the RED Spy being harmless. It shows that not all REDs are out to get the BLLUs during times of ceasefire.

I love your descriptive writing style and how you can characterize otherwise simple characters
